O lord,
You've given a stir,
I cannot forget
Lord, to my life's foundation;
the oscillation you bestowed upon me
For that You will not be forgot.
at the root of my life.
Due to You, my everything
Is dressed in heavenly elixir.

For you i have decorated
Deaf and dumb, within one nook of life I lay.
all my belongings' essence.
Then You came secretly into my heart's cave.
This Your advent, never it's without an aim;
Every second You have given me a shake.

I was lying in a corner,
In a world of light, with ink was my attire smeared;
my life deaf and dumb,
Yet only Your will chimes in every thought and deed.
when you secretly entered
At no time did I see or hear;
the depth of my heart.
But, slumber broken, Your liila I've conceived.

This arrival of yours
is not without reason.

You bestow oscillations
into this world
at every moment.

In this world of light,
I was wrapped up
in a dark costume.

In all thoughts and actions
Your rhythm sounds.

I never heard of you nor saw you.
As my slumber crumbled,
I understood your divine game.

Tumi je diyecho nara is the 558th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi je diyecho náŕá
Jiivaner múle prabhu
Tomáre jáy ná bholá
Tomá lági sab kichu
Sudhásáre sájiye tolá

Paŕechinu ek końe múk badhir práńe
Ele tumi gopane hiyár gahane
Ei tava ágaman nahe kabhu akárańa
Prati pale ditecho dolá

Álor jagat májhe chinu masiimákhá sáje
Sakal bháve o káje tomári chanda báje
Dekhini shuńini kabhu
Ghúm bheuṋge bujhinu liilá

You've given a stir,
Lord, to my life's foundation;
For that You will not be forgot.
Due to You, my everything
Is dressed in heavenly elixir.

Deaf and dumb, within one nook of life I lay.
Then You came secretly into my heart's cave.
This Your advent, never it's without an aim;
Every second You have given me a shake.

In a world of light, with ink was my attire smeared;
Yet only Your will chimes in every thought and deed.
At no time did I see or hear;
But, slumber broken, Your liila I've conceived.
