Tumi je praner priyatama mama is the 1189th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi je práńer priyatama mama
Rańane madhura carańe núpura
Áṋkhite aiṋjana bháva anupama

Je jug caliyá giyáche dharár
Se jugeo sauṋge chile sabákár
Ajáná pathik anádi pathik
Áloke náshite antarera tamah

Theko káche káche jeo náko dúre
Priitite práńke udbhásita kare
Tumi thákibe priitio thákibe
Ár thákibe dyotaná madhuratama

O my dearest lord,
O unknown traveler,
one with sweet ankle bells
producing tinkling sounds.

O one with a gracious look,
one with an incomparable idea.

In the age that went by,
You were with all.

The mystic traveler is the eternal traveler,
He shall by his effulgence remove the darkness
from the heart of the devotee.

Permanently stay close to me,
do not go far away.
Illuminate my life with your love.

If you stay,
love stays,
and effulgence also stays,
O my sweetest one.
