O Lord,
You've befriended everybody;
You loved all,
You've imbued all lives with love's bright gleam.
You filled all lives with illumination.
As to the spurned, neglected beings,
You've raised their personal dignity.

You uplifted and honoured
The minds that are not tarnished,
the unknown and ignored.
The eyes expressing true compassion,
Those who in sunlight remain spotless,
Near to Thee come such hearts;
And everybody's intimate words
You've lifted from those mirrors.

You placed on your mirror
On light's bright chariot crimson,
the minds that were not polluted,
You've wanted to bear everyone;
the eyes that spoke affectionately,
On everybody's path of movement,
the hearts that came close in the bright sunlight,
You Yourself have been the mentor.
and all their inner thoughts.
Everyone's mental affliction,

With empathy You've understood.
You took all with you
on the cart of illumination,
You yourself acting as guide
on the path of movements.

You experienced
and you understood
everyone's mental pain.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Tumi) Sabáy bhálobásiyácho
Priitir dyuti práńe bharecho
Avajiṋáta avahelita
Mánavatmáre túle dharecho

Je mane paŕeni dág
Je áṋkhi mamatá bháśe
Niśkaluś súrjáloke
Je hiyá nikat́e áse
Sabár marmaváńii
Mukure túle niyecho

Áloker ei ráuṋá rathe
Sabáre nite ceyecho
Sabár calár pathe
Dishárii nije hayecho
Sabár maner vyathá
Anubhave bujhiyácho

You've befriended everybody;
You've imbued all lives with love's bright gleam.
As to the spurned, neglected beings,
You've raised their personal dignity.

The minds that are not tarnished,
The eyes expressing true compassion,
Those who in sunlight remain spotless,
Near to Thee come such hearts;
And everybody's intimate words
You've lifted from those mirrors.

On light's bright chariot crimson,
You've wanted to bear everyone;
On everybody's path of movement,
You Yourself have been the mentor.
Everyone's mental affliction,
With empathy You've understood.
