Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Vandita tumi vishvabhuvane
Nandita tumi sab mane
Mandrita tumi ákáshe vátáse
Spandita mahárańane

Tomár asiime háráy ná kichu
Phuráy ná kichu kabhu kona din
Járá chilo tárá sabái rayeche
Tava cetanáy samádhiliin
Surasaptake tomári ekake
Báṋshii báje tava manane

Nihita já chilo anádi kálete
Tái bhese cale surera srotete
Bandhan ár mukti dháráte
Chándasiker nihsvane

Throughout the universe You're extolled;
Worshipped are You in every mind.
You are vibrant in both air and sky,
Pulsating the cosmic Om.

In Your infinity, nothing is lost
Never does anything cease to exist.
Those who were once will always remain,
Absorbed within Your consciousness
As solos in Your musical scale,
Flutes resounding per Your conception.

All that has been since time out of mind,
It goes on drifting in streams of melody,
Bondage or freedom to realize
In the sound of One versed in prosody.
