Vrtha janama gamayalun is the 340^th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita. The language of the lyrics is uncertain. It might be Braj Bhasha, a Hindi offshoot spoken in the broad area of India known as Braj or Vrajabhumi. Some believe that this is a mixture of Bhojpuri and Bengali. Perhaps more likely, it is either the Brajavali dialect of Assamese or Brajabuli, both having a strong Maithili composition.

Cruel fate has meted me out this pitiful lot. Within my grasp he came And yet That supreme treasure I could not attain, I could not devote myself to him. Today i will start anew.
