Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Maner máyávane ke tumi ele (mor)
Dekhe jena mane hay cini tomáre
Paricay náhi dile

Vane mor jamechilo ágáchár bhiŕ
Chilo káṋt́ár páháŕ chilo ná kona samiir
Chilo baddha háoyá jaŕke cáoyá
Táder sariye diye shobhá ánile

Je man páriita nandanavan hate
Páriita svarńacúŕá gaŕiyá dite
Chilo áṋdháre d́háká kálimá mákhá
Táháte dyutir rath tumi cálále

Oh You, Who arrived in the magic forest of my mind?
Within mind, it seems Yourself I recognize,
Even though identity You did not provide.

Inside my woodlands had amassed a crowd of weeds;
A mountain of thorns there'd been, and no breeze.
The air was closed, desire was for matter;
Setting all of that aside, You beautified.

For the mind penned in to become Paradise,
To construct a golden peak from something confined,
The darkness had been veiled, gloom had been coated;
Over that You drove a chariot, glowing bright.
