This blue lake is singing,
On the surface of this blue mere,
the lotus and lily smile overwhelmingly.
A white lotus, water lily, smiles effusively.
Without seeing who comes and who goes,
Who came, who went, she does not see;
the mind rushes only towards him.
Her mind just runs to Him only.
how many storms blew off with lightning,

meteorites showed many glimpses of light.
Many a storm has blown with flow of lightning;
how many comets came waving their tails,
Many an aerolite flashes many light-beams;
by nothing coming and going was possible.
Many comets, showing up, set their tail a-dancing...
innumerable days and eras passed off.
In each case, don't they come and leave?
but the heart remained full of honey.

many bees came and continued singing
Many days have gone away, many ages have elapsed;
but the honey did not dry up.
Nonetheless her breast has stayed replete with nectar.
Many [[:wikipedia:Xylocopa latipes|black-bees]], haven't they come and kept on singing?
Yet her honey isn't lost, not by any means.
