O lord, on the cyclonic night,
In the night had come a whirlwind
you came in the blooming shefa’lii garden
In the blooming [[:wikipedia:Nyctanthes arbor-tristis|jasmines']] garden,
and along with that into my mind.
In my mind along with them.
i was then sitting in the house
In my room then, the latch given,
unmindfully with closed door.
Inattentive, I'd been seated.
the roaring storm was blowing and knocking.

shivers were rising in the afflicted mind.
Blows the roaring gale has stricken;
the branches with flowers were breaking down
Wounded mind's quaking has arisen.
crying in distress. falling in water
Boughs in bloom, breaking, have fallen,
many flowers got lost,
Shedding tears in distress.
with intoxicating smell the fragrance floated.

to which unknown arena, they went away,
Many blooms have been lost in cyclone and torrent;
that i think each moment.
Floated has a heady-scented pollen.
To which place unknown have they departed...
On just that I ponder every moment.
