Wherefrom this flow of fountain came?
From where came this cascading stream?
that origin of life, you tell me o Lord.
That same life-spring is because You give it, Lord.
o the self Created, svayambhu,
Wherefrom have I come, and whereto will I go?
you only know from where did i come
Only You know, hey the Self-Born One.
and where shall I go. i come and go,

there is no end to the movement.
I come and go, my movement has no end;
without any fixation or bar,
Without break I race toward an unknown realm.
i rush towards unknown.
Why do I come, and what's the reason that I go?
Why did i come and why should i go,
I never got a proper answer for this purpose.
the proper answer to this “why”

i never got.
I know that my advent and departure are circling Thee;
i know that my coming and going
From where the drop comes, it returns to Him only.
is around you. the point from which i came,
On the treacle of Your [[:wikipedia:Lila (Hinduism)|liila]] I float in ecstasy;
i would return back to that only.
But the Master, Yourself, I never ignored.
i float in the flow of your divine game
with deep breath.
thus, i never forget you, o lord.
