On this golden moonlight scattering night,
On this gold-dripping, moonlit night,
the mind rushes to attain You.
To attain You, racing goes the mind.
you have illuminated this inanimate world
Oh You, aglow with heaven's luster,
with heavenly light. your victory chariot
Gave this dull world rays of light.
goes on forward unobstructed

from beginninglessness on the path of the infinite.
Unhindered, Your winning chariot goes ahead,
for the welfare and destruction of the evil,
Its course, from no beginning to only without end,
awakening the knowledge of dharma, in the core.
The maker of welfare, so ruin for the wicked,
O beginning less Lord, you were there,
To rouse in soul knowledge of what's right.
you exist now and would remain.

you never forget any thing or anyone.
You'd been, You are, You will stay, Self-born Lord;
if i forget you due to infatuation,
Anything at all at no time do You ignore.
remove that blunder with stern hands.
But yet Yourself I forget, subject to infatuation;
Thunderbolt in hand, pray remove the oversight.
