| <poem>
O lord, i move on crushing the thorns on the path,
Thorns of the way I've gone on trampling
to find you close to me.
For purpose of finding You near.
i have kept the bolts of the door open,
Mind's bolt on door have I kept opening;
and wiped out the agonies of the past.
Ancient disgrace I am eroding.
Mercifully tell me, how much more delay

is there in my holding you wholeheartedly.
How much more delay, graciously please say,
from ages to ages i continued floating,
To obtain You wholeheartedly in my embrace.
seeking from you a particle of mercy.
For ages I have drifted unto end of age;
i cannot do anything with intellect;
A single grain of kindness I beseech.
i know that the scriptural knowledge is incomplete.

i accept your causeless grace as the essence,
Through intellect nothing could I achieve;
and taking your name, i struggle through
Scriptural wisdom is, I know, incomplete.
hundreds of difficulties.
Your causeless grace is the gist I heed;
With Your name I resist a hundred miseries.
