O Lord, You had come below the kadamba tree,
Under a [[:wikipedia:Neolamarckia cadamba|kadam tree]] You had arrived;
and my mind looks at that direction again and again.
In that same direction repeatedly my psyche races.
The series of waves like that of blue ocean
Akin to an ocean upon expanse of sky,
dance and make all dance.
By a dancing row of waves everyone's excited.
You were there and the world of beauty was there.

Bound by both sides microcosm and Macrocosm were lying.
You had been here, and there was a world of beauty;
The small and big got merged.
Although two, atom and Huge, they had adhered.
My heart, breaking all bondages,
Tiny and Great, they had been in harmony;
does not heed to obstructions.
My heart, dam broken, yielded to no obstacle.
Bondages, slander and social ill repute,

I have left all inadvertences and fears.
Barricades and blame and social calumny–
My only ambition is to get You closer.
All fear I have ditched, the whole calamity.
Come into the firmament of my mind
My wish, just to gain You still more near;
and smile during the foggy time.
Having come on mind-sky, smile at time of mist.
