The floral garland has dried up;
The floral wreath has gone on withering;
its petals have withered down.
Its petals have kept dropping off.
Their history no one heard,
Did someone not hear of this, its chronicle?
neither any remedy was made.
None made any reparation.
The flowers were carefully lifted.

The beauty and the fragrance
Carefully, the blooms had been culled;
were overwhelming with
Beauty with fragrance had been swelling up.
the feelings and sweetness,
Effusive had they been in mood and nectar...
but nobody observed that on the earth.
Of this world observed not anyone?
It fell down unseen by all,

praying before all feet.
Molting, it's remained unnoticed by all...
Listen to my talk, understand my agony,
At everybody's feet has it implored:
do not ignore thinking that
"Hear my words, fathom my affliction;
it is difficult to understand.
Supposing apprehension's hard, don't ignore."
