 There are two more forms of a pátakii— ''atipátakii'' and ''mahápátakii''. One who has done permanent physical or mental damage to a particular person is called ''atipátakii'' and a ''mahápátakii'' commits sins of recurring nature. The best way for an atipátakii is to sacrifice his personal pleasure and involve himself for the welfare of mankind, on the other hand, a mahápátakii has to sacrifice his life for the welfare of humanity.<ref name=AV />
