Neglecting the goal, I moved on many paths;
forgetting the Supreme Desideratum.
I did not follow the bright surface of righteousness.
I did not move on that illuminated straight path
With bewitching beckonings was I enticed,
in the first place.
Forgetting Your chief behest, seek the truth.
Attachments prompted and pulled me.
I forgot the essence of the instruction conveyed to me
to search the truth.
