Day and night tears flow from my eyes,
Day and night my eyes shed tears,
O lord,
Only due to You, Lord, on account of Thee.
for you, only for you.
I don't love You, but still so much You love me;
How it happens, Lord, it's a mystery.

I never loved you
Suffused with morning's crimson hue
but you loved me so much, why my lord?
Are my psychic piles of gloom.
In summer's scorching heat, the salve that's smeared,
Like cooling sandalpaste is Your blessing on me.
Only alongside You do I survive;
And so toward You I gaze time after time.

Filled with the morning hue,
When with dark clouds the days are dancing
my mind remains much astonished.
And a chilling thrill my heartbeat receives,

In that same state Your rousing voice I hear;
In the intense summer heat,
Resounding inside, my heart rises replete.
blessing me,
You provide soothing sandalwood paste ointment
on my burns.

I survive for you only,
and therefore
I constantly look at you.

When the dark clouds
perform their dance of destruction,
quiver arises in the rhythm of life.
In it also, i hear your voice
and my heart resonates anew.
