O lord,
Rays of hope You keep revealed
You continue showing to me rays of light
But think not to Your coming.
but keep forgetting the event of your arrival.
Having given hope, You sustain me
But hold Yourself concealed.

You keep me surviving in hope
Snaring me in a hundred threads of maya's web,
but maintain yourself hidden.
Such divine sport You go on making, days on end.
Placing everyone in slumber deep and dense,
You keep awake, always by the head of those abed.

You keep me bound
On a many-colored sky or through a floral essence,
in hundreds of blind attachments.
In the touch of gentle wind coated with sweetness,

Hid from everyone, You are smiling with mirth,
What sort of divine game
Everything in reach, You wrap it in laughter.
do you play with me?

You engross all in deep slumber
but always remain awakened yourself.

The colourful sky,
the essence of flowers,
the sweetness absorbed sandal breeze,
behind them all,
You smile with joy.

Holding or touching you
also takes place with a smile.
