O lord,
Crossing the billowy ocean,
crossing the high sea,
In my home You had arrived.
You came to my home.
On lonesome path You are the pilgrim
Never pausing due to fear or fright.

On the solitary path,
I had done no preparation,
You never pause due to fear or risk.
Like provisioning some articles of worship.
There was only psyche, scarred all over,
Bathed in tears and love-laden.

I had not made any preparations for your welcome.
For Your sake I do nothing whatsoever,
No useful arrangement was made.
Chasing dreams, in vain have I rambled.
I had only an injured mind and heart,
With a new sun and a raging bugle,
but filled with love and soaked in tears.
My hand clasping, You showed the direction.

I did not do anything for you.
I simply wandered about behind mirages.
But you held my hand
and with a loud trumpet sound,
showed me a new sun.
