The chariot of effulgence moves on.
Light's chariot does advance,
Touching many a heart and heaven,
It does advance, it does advance.
carrying many a shade of affection,
Many a heart-heaven having touched,
snatching away much love,
Many shadows of attachment having crossed,
it moves on, on its eternal way.
So much love having snatched and carried off,
It dashes ever along its own path.

This cart never heeds to any forbidding,
This chariot, never does it heed any interdict;
it never pauses nor stops,
This chariot, never does it get startled or falter;
it never retreats back in fear,
This chariot, out of fear, never does it crawfish...
it moves on always.
It always faces forward.

Bathing all in the effulgence of love,
Having bathed everybody in affectionate effulgence;
spreading out both hands
Having strengthened both hands on the path of righteousness;
to welcome all
Having merged its meter with song's melody and rhythm...
unto the path of righteousness,
It glitters on a sea of ambrosia.
attuning all
to the rhythm, melody and tune of songs,
it ever pours out an ocean of nectar.
