Purpose

You can use this template to notify a user that you have responded to his/her message on your own talk page on another WikiProject.

Usage

placed under a new section at the bottom of the recipient user talk page. To use this template to inform your intended Wikipedian of a message on a talk page on another project:

  1. Go to the target talk page.
  2. On the top of the page, click on "New Section" button/link. It should look like this:
    New section small.png
  3. In the "Subject/headline" box, type a descriptive title.
  4. In the message section, enter the following: {{Interwiki talkback|page=|project=|section=}} The first two parameters are mandatory, but section can left empty.
  5. Save the page.

Wikipedia will notify the recipient of having a new message in his talk page. When he visits his talk page, he should see your notice and (hopefully) follow the link to your user talk page.

Notes

  • Do not substitute this template!
  • Do not insert this template in a section header; use it on a line by itself
