Varaśár gáne gáne

Jáhá chilo cápá mane
Baleni já abhimáne
Vyakta kariyá dio
Nikhiler sure táne

Jáhá karechilo vidhur
Manane já chilo madhur
Táháke shravańe ene
Dáo cira utsárańe

Ár theko náko dúre
Tridasha antahpure
Neve eso bháve bhare
Mamatár t́áne t́áne

তোমার গোপন কথা
ভাবনার ব্যাকুলতা
আজিকে শুনিয়ে যেও
বরষার গানে গানে

যাহা ছিলো চাপা মনে
বলোনি যা অভিমানে
ব্যক্ত করিয়া দিও
নিখিলের সুরে তানে

যাহা করেছিলো বিধুর
মননে যা ছিলো মধুর
তাহাকে শ্রবণে এনে'
দাও চির উৎসারণে

আর থেকো নাকো দূরে
ত্রিদশ-অন্তঃপুরে
নেবে' এসো ভাবে ভরে'

Your intimate secret,
An anxious eagerness,
Today go on making heard
In monsoon songs aplenty.

What by mind had been concealed,
What spoke not out of vanity,
Kindly allow its utterance
Through cosmic key and melody.

Whatever had mystified,
What had been pleasant by surmise,
That having brought into hearing,
Its perpetual emission You cede.

Kindly stay afar no more,
A Deity cordoned off.
Suffusing thought, come below please
With kinship's constant tugging.
