Dekhá dile nava sáje
Phulasáje go rúpasáje

Guńer tomár nái tulaná
Vyakta nrtye chande náná
Avyakteo áche ajáná
Mugdha citta krpá jáce

Ácho tumi sarvaloke
Vyaktávyakta tamasá áloke
Ánáo ashru hási palake
Kabhu dúr kakhano káche

তোমায় আমি চেয়েছিলুম
দুঃখে সুখে মন মাঝে
দেখা দিলে নব সাজে
ফুলসাজে গো রূপসাজে

গুণের তোমার নাই তুলনা
ব্যক্ত নৃত্যে ছন্দে নানা
অব্যক্তেও আছে অজানা
মুগ্ধ চিত্ত কৃপা যাচে

আছো তুমি সর্বলোকে
ব্যক্তাব্যক্ত তমসা আলোকে
আনাও অশ্রু-হাসি পলকে
কভু দূর কখনো কাছে

Yourself had I desired
In grief and in gladness amid psyche.
You appeared in new clothing,
In a floral dress, oh in a garb of beauty.

Of Your virtue there is no comparison;
Expressed through dance and rhythm various.
And also when unexpressed, it is mysterious;
Bewildered mind beseeches mercy.

You exist in each and every sphere,
Expressed or not, with flash of light or ebony.
In the blink of an eye, You fetch a smile or tears;
At any time from afar and any time from near.
