Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi nandanavane candan
Tava suváse vasudhá bhese jáy
Tumi kamalera makaranda
Jata madhupa tomáre pete cáy

Tumi varaśá ketakii sama
Paráge bhásicho mama
Tumi campaka cetaná dháráy
Bháso durmada mandrila váy

Tava rúpera chat́áy jhalakáy
Ańu bhúmá tárá mańikáy
Niiháriká hár shatadháy
Udvelita tava páy

You are the sandalwood in a pleasure garden;
Earth goes on drifting on Your sweet scent.
You're the nectar of a lotus flower;
Yourself every bee wants to get.

To a screwpine, in the rains You happen;
You are floating through my pollen.
You are in magnolia's stream of consciousness;
On a drunken, rumbling wind, You rise weightless.

Sparkling with the luster of Your silhouette,
Both micro- and macrocosm; they're be-gemmed.
The nebula's necklace in ways one hundred,
By Your legs, overwhelmed.
