Shabda sparsha rupa rase bhare acho

Shabda sparsha rupa rase bhare acho is the 3148th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1] This song seems to be the first in a series of several songs in a style that speaks to children. Nonetheless, these songs all have levels of meaning for people of any age.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Shabda sparsha rúpa rase bhare ácho
Maner mukule tumi madhu ámár
Jáná vá ajáná je paricaye rayecho
Sarva rddhiri tumi samáhár

Nidágher asahja úśńa váyur srote
Snigdha jharańá sama tháko tumi sáthe sáthe
Varaśáy viśikta kardamákta pathe
Śaśt́hii sama tumi lakśye calár

Tomár cáoyáte tomáke jáná ná jáná
Cáhilei jánibo nahile rabe ajáná
Tomáke tuśt́a kará ámár sár sádhaná
Se vrate prárthii ámi tava karuńár

O Lord, You are full of the
fundamental factors or inferences
like that of sound, touch, light (form),
flow and smell as sweetness in
the flower buds of my mind.
Whatever known or unknown
acquaintances are there,
You are collection of all wealth.
During unbearable intensely hot winds,
You stay with me together
like soft, cool fountain.
During turbid path with rotten rainwater,
You guide and goad towards the goal
like the engel s’as’t’i.
Knowing or not knowing You
depends upon Your sweet will,
if You want, we know You
otherwise we remain ignorant.
The essence of my spiritual endeavor
is only to satisfy You.
Having that vow, I pray You for Your mercy.
