Bhálo besechile
Jadi nikat́e ese náhi hásibe
Kena tákiyechile

(Kena) Kálákále tava báṋsharii d́áke
Mantramugdha kare dey ámáke
Khushir álo dekhi megheri pháṋke
E liilá kothá shikhile

Gharete man t́eke ná báhire chut́i
Báhire thekeo manakorake phut́i
Paráger madhu mekhe abháve lut́i
Baloni kii je cáhile

Shithil kabarii mor uŕe vátáse
Dekhináko kárá áse áshe páshe
Bhávináko ke kii kay ke káṋde háse
Sab bhuliye dile

যদি না আসিবে তবে কেন
ভালো বেসেছিলে
যদি নিকটে এসে' নাহি হাসিবে
কেন তাকিয়েছিলে

(কেন) কালাকালে তব বাঁশরী ডাকে
মন্ত্রমুগ্ধ করে' দেয় আমাকে
খুশির আলো দেখি মেঘেরই ফাঁকে
এ লীলা কোথা শিখিলে

ঘরেতে মন টেকে না বাহিরে ছুটি
বাহিরে থেকেও মনকোরকে ফুটি'
পরাগের মধু মেখে' অভাবে লুটি
বলোনি কী যে চাহিলে

শিথিল কবরী মোর উড়ে বাতাসে
দেখিনাকো কারা আসে আশে পাশে
ভাবিনাকো কে কী কয় কে কাঁদে হাসে
সব ভুলিয়ে দিলে

O Lord, if You would not come
then why did you love?
If You do not smile on coming close,
why did You see?
Why does Your flute calls me
from time to time? That makes me charmed.
Through the gaps of clouds,
I see the light of joy.
Where did You learn this illusive game liila’?
The mind does not stay in home and rushes out.
Staying outside the core of mind blooms.
Smearing with honey from the pollen,
the shortage is looted;
tell me what is that You want?
The loose chignon of mine blows in the wind,
I do not see who is coming nearby.
I do not think who is telling what
and who is crying, I have forgotten all.
