O lord, talking about my own self,
Going on telling own tale,
eras have passed.
An age, it passes by.
now you tell about Your gospel,
Should You relate Your story,
so that on hearing,
Attending, ears are satisfied.
my ears would be satiated.

for listening to that single fact,
For hearing just one chronicle,
many lives I have remained awake.
So many lifetimes I'm attentive.
for the glimpse of a single smile,
Just one smile's flash, for its sake,
my mind is overwhelmed.
Overflowing is the mind.
i shall no longer tell about myself;

the hopes and pains of this small mind.
I won't talk more 'bout myself,
o the ocean, towards You,
A base mind's hope and distress.
this small point, the unit “i” may rush.
Toward You, hey Bounding Main,
Let this tiny drop hie.

Nijer katha balte gele is the 2610th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Nijer kathá balte gele
Jug je cale jáy
Tomár kathá shonáo jena
Shune shruti juŕáy

Ekt́i kathá shonár lági
Kata janam áchi jági
Ekt́i hásir jhilik tare
Man je upacáy

Kaibo ná ár ámár kathá
Kśudra maner áshá vyathá
He sindhu tomár páne
E vindu jena dháy

Going on telling own tale,
An age, it passes by.
Should You relate Your story,
Attending, ears are satisfied.

For hearing just one chronicle,
So many lifetimes I'm attentive.
Just one smile's flash, for its sake,
Overflowing is the mind.

I won't talk more 'bout myself,
A base mind's hope and distress.
Toward You, hey Bounding Main,
Let this tiny drop hie.
