O Dear Lord, when there was nothing,
There'd not been, when there'd not been a thing at all,
You were all alone.
You had been alone, my Love, You'd had no help.
All were astonished,
Everything had been at standstill
in that intense darkness.
On that new moon night's darkness dense.
You were alone in the darkness;

there was question of good or bad time.
In gloom, in gloom You had been unattended;
There was no floral garland,
No occasion, bad or good, had there been.
neither there was anybody
There was not the floral garland,
to place that around Your neck.
Nor someone to place it upon neck.
You wanted colorful festivity,

did not want to stay alone any more,
The colored exhibition did You want, You wanted:
wanted to raise stir in the world,
"I won't stay alone any longer;
on the shore of the ocean of love
Oscillation will I wake through a universe
during initial moment of rain.
Upon the shore of love's ocean
At the consequent Creation's first moment."

Chilo na kichui jakhan is the 3011th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Chilo ná) Chilo ná kichui jakhan
Tumi ekákii chile priya ekáki chile
Stambhita chilo sabi
Se amánishári ghore

(Tamasáy) Tamasáy chile ekelá
Chilo ná belá abelá
Chilo ná phuleri málá
Ná keu paráte gale

(Cáile) Cáile rauṋeri melá
Thákibo ná ár ekelá
Jágábo bhuvane dolá
Priiti udadhikúle
Visrśt́ir prathama pale

There'd not been, when there'd not been a thing at all,
You had been alone, my Love, You'd had no help.
Everything had been at standstill
On that new moon night's darkness dense.

In gloom, in gloom You had been unattended;
No occasion, bad or good, had there been.
There was not the floral garland,
Nor someone to place it upon neck.

The colored exhibition did You want, You wanted:
"I won't stay alone any longer;
Oscillation will I wake through a universe
Upon the shore of love's ocean
At the consequent Creation's first moment."
