O lord, i wished you to visit me
When having strayed, then You appeared–
even by mistake of forgetting your path,
Came You not intentionally,
but you never came.
You did not come, You did not reach.
i had no capacity to invite you,
I cannot make invitation
still i wished you to have come,
When You came by inattention, notwithstanding.
even by negligence.

i had no golden throne,
I don't own a throne golden
neither silk bed sheet decorated seat.
Or a chair cloaked in silk from China.
and i had not decorated the path with alpana'
The way having decorated with a [[:wikipedia:Alpana|rice-paint holy]],
with hope of your arrival by mistake.
I retained no faith in the case You came mistakenly.
There is no effluence of wealth

in this hut of mine
In this my hut, there's no profusion;
neither even plentiful ness
Ostentatious riches too, there are none.
shown to the world.
Only with sweetness is the mind replete...
But with sweetness filled mind
You did come, my dearth of hope ignoring.
i have expected that you would come
by mistake of forgetting the path.

Tumi path bhule jadi ele is the 2246th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi path bhule jadi ele
Jeneshune nái bá ele
Nái bá ele nái bá ele
Sámarthya nái kari nimantrańa
Tabu jadi ele avahele

Nái ámár svarńa siḿhásan
Ciináḿshuke sájáno ásan
Álpaná diye path sájiye
Rákhi ni bharasá jadi ele bhule

Mor e kut́iire prácurja nái
Lokadekháno aeshvarjo nái
Man bhará mádhurja niyei
Áshá kari jadi bhule ese gele

When having strayed, then You appeared–
Came You not intentionally,
You did not come, You did not reach.
I cannot make invitation
When You came by inattention, notwithstanding.

I don't own a throne golden
Or a chair cloaked in silk from China.
The way having decorated with a rice-paint holy,
I retained no faith in the case You came mistakenly.

In this my hut, there's no profusion;
Ostentatious riches too, there are none.
Only with sweetness is the mind replete...
You did come, my dearth of hope ignoring.
