O embodiment of the universe,
With me, this worldly creature,
taking me along,
You have gone on making liila.
You keep performing your divine play (liila').
It cannot be fathomed, hey Sportive One,
What sort of pleasure You've derived from it.

O embodiment of this game,
To the bud You have given only nectar,
what pleasure do you derive from it?
Inside both the bloom and mind.
But Callous Friend, a desert's crackle,
You have given my heart to ignite.
Tell me please: In the flow of divine game,
Why have You stayed so far away?

You pour honey
My wish is not to understand You;
into the core of minds and flowers.
I don't call in hope of any acquisition.
Yet mercilessly,
I want but to see that, thoroughly diffuse,
You burn hearts and deserts too.
You have taken and made me Yours.

Tell me why, in the flow of this divine game,
You have remained far away.

I do not want to understand you,
I do not call you with the expectation of attainment.
I only want to see you make me your own,
in both individual and collective life.

Niye amay e vishvamay is the 1625th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Niye ámáy e vishvamay
Liilá kare tumi calecho
Bojhá ná jáy he liilámay
Kii sukh ete tumi peyecho

Diyecho madhu korake shudhu
Phulete manete duyete
Nit́hura baṋdhu marura dhudhu
Hrdaye diyecho jvalite
Liilára dháráy balo ámáy
Eta dúre kena rayecho

Cái ná ámi bujhite tomáy
D́áki ná kona pávár ásháy
Cái dekhite otaprote
Ámáy tomár kare niyecho

With me, this worldly creature,
You have gone on making liila.
It cannot be fathomed, hey Sportive One,
What sort of pleasure You've derived from it.

To the bud You have given only nectar,
Inside both the bloom and mind.
But Callous Friend, a desert's crackle,
You have given my heart to ignite.
Tell me please: In the flow of divine game,
Why have You stayed so far away?

My wish is not to understand You;
I don't call in hope of any acquisition.
I want but to see that, thoroughly diffuse,
You have taken and made me Yours.
