Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ámári vyatháte gale
Ámáre dekhibe bale
Esecho ki ei dharátale

Hrdaye mádhurii bhará
Hásite mukutá jhará
Áṋkhite priitira kajjale
Thákoni tridashe tumi
Esecho rabhase námi
Manera korake liiláchale

Nám rúp tava nái
Shata náme rúpe pái
Buddhike taliye dile
Theko mor sáthe sáthe
Sabkále kálátiite
Madhurabháve citikamale

O Lord, is it that having melted by observing my pain,
to attend to me, You came to this earth?
You came with heart filled with sweetness,
pearl scattering smile
and eyes marked with the kohl of love.
You do not stay in heaven,
and come down with upsurge of emotion
into the core of mind
with delusion of Your divine game, liila’.
You do not have any specific name and form,
and I find You in hundreds of names and forms,
drowning my vanity of intellect.
Stay with me always within and
beyond the periphery of time,
with sweet ideation, on the lotus of my heart.
