Notes
- ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
- ^ The chukar (চকোরে), also known as the red-legged or Himalayan partridge or curlew or bartavelle, is the national bird of Pakistan. References to it date back to the Rg Veda. The chukar is reputed to gaze at the moon constantly and is hence said to be in love with the moon or to drink moonlight. In Indian mythology, the chukar often symbolizes intense love, sometimes unrequited.
