Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi theko ámár duhkhe sukhete
Sáthe sáthe dine ráte
Maner sakal madhu manthan kare
Rekhechi tomáre dite

Apalak nayane ceye tháki
Tomár patha páne jáno náki
Tomár kusumeri parág mákhi
Dharáre surabhite bharite

Tumi ácho tái sabái áche
Tomáy ghire sárá bhuvan náce
Antare báhire dúre káche
Jiivaner svarńa bálubeláte

O lord, please stay with me
in my joys and sorrows day and night.
i have churned out all the nectar
of my mind to offer to you.
i keep looking for you with unblinking eyes.
do not you know that?
i smear myself with the pollen of your flowers
to add to the fragrance of the earth.
you exist so all exist.
the whole universe dances around you.
You exist both within and without,
far and near, in the golden sand of life.
