Pápŕi jhariyá geche tár
Tár e itikathá keu ki shońeni
Kareniko kona pratikár

Sajatane tolá phulguli chilo
Suśamá suváse chilo ucchala
Bháve o madhute chilo udvela
Keu ki dekheni e dharár

Sabár alakhe jhariyá paŕeche
Sabár carańe vinati kareche
Shono mor kathá bojho mor vyathá
Bhulio ná bheve bojhá bhár

ফুলের মালিকা শুকাইয়া গেছে
পাপড়ি ঝরিয়া গেছে তার
তার এ ইতিকথা কেউ কি শোনেনি
করেনিকো কোন প্রতিকার

সযতনে তোলা ফুলগুলি ছিলো
সুষমা সুবাসে ছিলো উচ্ছল
ভাবে ও মধুতে ছিলো উদ্বেল
কেউ কি দেখেনি এ ধরার

সবার অলখে ঝরিয়া পড়েছে
সবার চরণে বিনতি করেছে
শোনো মোর কথা বোঝো মোর ব্যথা
ভুলিও না ভেবে' বোঝা ভার

The floral wreath has gone on withering;
Its petals have kept dropping off.
Did someone not hear of this, its chronicle?
None made any reparation.

Carefully, the blooms had been culled;
Beauty with fragrance had been swelling up.
Effusive had they been in mood and nectar...
Of this world observed not anyone?

Molting, it's remained unnoticed by all...
At everybody's feet has it implored:
"Hear my words, fathom my affliction;
Supposing apprehension's hard, don't ignore."
