Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi esecho álo enecho
Áṋdhár sare geche
Man mátáno vyathá bholáno
Madhurimá eseche

Alake áloke tumi bhese jáo
Ośt́he adhare hese hese cáo
Priitira aiṋjana kaluśabhaiṋjana
Cidákáshe bheseche

Jeo ná jeo ná bojho vyákulatá
Kán pete dhiire shono ámár kathá
Esecho jakhan theko ańukśań
Ámár káche káche

O Lord You have come, and brought light,
the darkness is removed.
The mind is enchanted, the pain is forgotten,
the sweetness has come.
With heavenly effulgence, You go on floating
and look with smiling lips.
The mark of as ointment to eyes
and the destroyer of dirt floats
in the firmament of the mind.
Do not go, do not go,
understand my restlessness.
Directing the ears, slowly listen to my talk.
Once that You have come,
stay for a while close to me.
