ভোরের আলোয় তোমায় পেলুম
ওগো আমার প্রাণের প্রিয়
অরুণ রাগের অনুরাগে

যাহা দিলুম পরাণ ঢেলে
চন্দনেতে গন্ধসম
তুচ্ছ জেনেও গ্রহণ করো

আলো-কালো দুই-ই আছে
আমার মাঝে জানি গো তায়
কালোর কালি রইলো আমার
আলোর সাজে সাজাই তোমায়
অল্প হলেও পায়ে রেখো
ওগো সবার স্মরণীয়

O my most beloved,
I found you in the morning light.

Amidst the crimson light,
You loved me and accepted my goodness.

I offer you all my good,
keeping the bad with myself.

Whatever i give,
I offer like sandal fragrance.
Though meager,
please accept it.
O adored one by the world!

I am aware
that both light and darkness reside within me.
Let darkness remain with me,
I shall decorate you with the adornment of light.

O remembered one by all,
even should my offering be small,
keep it at your feet.
