Dhulor e dharáte
Torá nayan mele cáo
Práńer ákutite

Rauṋ dhareche tarulatáy
Maner májhe sarasatáy
Rauṋer nácan dey je káṋpan
Jale sthale madhunisháte

Chande máte vyatháhata man
Gandha váte kusumita van
Smita áloy jhalmaliye
Jharńá jhare jhalkánite

আবার কি রে আলো এলো
ধুলোর এ ধরাতে
তোরা নয়ন মেলে চাও
প্রাণের আকুতিতে

রঙ ধরেছে তরুলতায়
মনের মাঝে সরসতায়
রঙের নাচন দেয় যে কাঁপন
জলে স্থলে মধুনিশাতে

ছন্দে মাতে ব্যথাহত মন
গন্ধ বাতে কুসুমিত বন
স্মিত আলোয় ঝলমলিয়ে
ঝর্ণা ঝরে ঝলকানিতে

Could it be that effulgence descended
onto this dusty earth?

Open your eyes, and,
envigoured with earnestness,
observe!

The trees and creepers
have dressed in colours.
Spiritedness fills their minds.

The dance of colours
produces vibrations in land and water
and engenders sweet nights.
Distressed minds
are now intoxicated with rhythm.

Gardens are full of flowers
and a fragrant breeze is in the air.
The vibrant fountain
flows on with flashes of smiling light.
