Ajana pathik ke tumi balo is the 1452nd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ajáná pathik ke tumi (balo)
Ná d́ákite áso d́ákile ná áso
Dúre theke shudhu mrdu mrdu háso
Sadá liilá rase ucchalo balo

Sájáno vediite d́ákile ná baso
Sájáno phuler ghare náhi áso
Diinera nilaye pelaba hrdaye
Ná d́ákite chút́e áso
Tumi e bhávete kena calo balo

Kata din áse brthá cale jáy
Kata ráuṋá chavi mele áleyáy
Tumi niravadhi egiye calecho
Prati pale dale jata kálo balo

O unknown traveler, tell.

When being called, you do not come.
You come without being called.

You simply smile from a distance.
You remain ever upsurged in the cosmic game.

The decorated altar does not attract him,
and he has no fascination
for a house well-decorated with flowers.
But he comes running to a poor man's hut
to occupy his heart.

Tell me why you behave this way?

How many days come and go in vain?
How many colourful images appear and vanish in delusion?
But as eternal entity,
You continue moving forward,
at every moment,
ever crushing the darkness.
