O lord, you brought light and filled the sky,
You brought light, filled up the sky;
there is no comparison of Yours in this world.
In the cosmos You don't have a peer.
you have charmed everyone,
Everyone You mesmerized;
o the great, i sing your glory.
Hey Majesty, I sing Your glory.
within nothingness, everything came.

you filled the total silence with resonant sound.
From a vacant core all things poured out;
the Cimmerian darkness ended.
The stillness was made full of sound.
that is why victory trumpet is being blown.
An end to long night came about;
within inert, inanimate existence, vibration of life came.
And so triumphant drums have beat.
the formless gem came into fold in a form.

the periphery of time got a demarcation,
Amid lifeless matter arrived a pulse of vigor;
all this you did alone.
The Jewel Unembodied resigned unto form.
Also, time's periphery received calculation;
All this You accomplished, wholly unaccompanied.

Alok anile akash bharile is the 2166th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Álok ánile ákásh bharile
Vishve tomár tulaná nái
Mantramugdha sabe kare dile
He virát́ tava garimá gái

Kichu-nár májhe sab kichu elo
Nistabdhatá dhvanite bharilo
Cira rátrir avasán halo
Jayadundubhi bájiche tái

Jaŕ májhe elo práńaspandan
Rúpe dhará dile arúp ratan
Káler paridhi pelo parimiti
E sab karile tumi ekái

You brought light, filled up the sky;
In the cosmos You don't have a peer.
Everyone You mesmerized;
Hey Majesty, I sing Your glory.

From a vacant core all things poured out;
The stillness was made full of sound.
An end to long night came about;
And so triumphant drums have beat.

Amid lifeless matter arrived a pulse of vigor;
The Jewel Unembodied resigned unto form.
Also, time's periphery received calculation;
All this You accomplished, wholly unaccompanied.
