Nece nece callo se je
Mánav maner stare stare

Báki kehai railo ná to
Viras mukhe vyatháhata
Páp puŕiye bádhá guṋŕiye
Callo álo tamah cire

Jugántarer anek áshá
Púrńa práńer bhálabásá
Sabái mile phule phale
Bhare gelo thare thare

আলোর ধারা এল নেবে'
ক্লেশার্ত এই ধরা 'পরে
নেচে' নেচে' চলল সে যে
মানব মনের স্তরে স্তরে

বাকি কেহই রইল না তো
বিরস মুখে ব্যথাহত
পাপ পুড়িয়ে বাধা গুঁড়িয়ে
চলল আলো তমঃ চিরে'

যুগান্তরের অনেক আশা
পূর্ণ প্রাণের ভালবাসা
সবাই মিলে' ফুলে ফলে
ভরে' গেল থরে থরে

A stream of light descended
'Pon this earth tormented.
Dancing, dancing, on it went
Through the human psychic layers.

None was there who was omitted,
Gloomy-faced and trouble-ridden.
Vices seared, hurdles crumbled,
Light proceeded, piercing darkness.

Expectations myriad throughout the ages,
And tender affections wholehearted,
Together mixed with fruits and flowers,
Got infused into all strata.[nb 2]
