Amay kena bhalabasile is the 2283rd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ámáy kena bhálabásile
Guń nái
Guń nái jinán-o nái
Tabe kii je dekhile

Mamatá mádhurii dile
Buddhi jágáye tulile
Siddhi samrddhi dile
Ámi asaháy bale

Mánavádháre ánile
Bhávete madhu mákhále
Pávár eśańá jágále
Tomáy gelum je bhule

Why did You hold me dear?
I've no merit...
I've no merit, I've no wisdom either...
What then did You see!

You granted the sweetness of sympathy;
You wakened understanding.
You gave success, You gave prosperity;
For I had been alone and weak.

You brought into a human body;
Onto thought You lacquered honey.
Then, a desire stirred for getting,
I just went and forgot Thee.
