The One Who dwells on the far side of vice,
and all around me,
My life and mind He has made bright.
vibrant light radiates.
Piercing the gloom, near Him alone I go;
Hence, i want to remove all darkness,
Now no impediment will I condone.

The entity that exists beyond darkness
has coloured my life and mind.
I keep piercing through the darkness,
ever nearer unto him,
I won't tolerate any obstacle.

Áṋdháre thákite cáhi ná

Mahákáshe ucchala álo bháse
Bháse mor cári páshe
Tái áṋdhár náshiyá phelite cái
Tá ki bujhite páro ná

Tamasár parapáre se je áche
Ámár jiivan man ráuṋiyeche
Áṋdhár bhediyá jái tári káche
Kona bádhá sahibo ná

আমি চাই আলোকের পথ ধরে যাই
তুমি এতে বাধা দিও না
আমি নাই জড় ভোগে আর মেতে নাই
আঁধারে থাকিতে চাহি না

মহাকাশে উচ্ছল আলো ভাসে
ভাসে মোর চারি পাশে
তাই আঁধার নাশিয়া ফেলিতে চাই
তা কি বুঝিতে পারো না

তমসার পরপারে সে যে আছে
আমার জীবন-মন রাঙিয়েছে
আঁধার ভেদিয়া যাই তারই কাছে
