Já sarábe sab jat́ilatá

Param puruśe sadá mane rákhi
Táhár áshise madhurimá mákhi
Shvetcandane diye jába áṋki
Jethá áche jata ávilatá

আমি চাই না এই সভ্যতা
আমি চাই না কুটিলতা
ভেসে’ যেতে চাই মুক্তাঙ্গনে
নিয়ে বিহগের সরলতা

চাই আরো আলো মুক্ত বাতাস
তারকা-খচিত সুনীল আকাশ
প্রজ্ঞাসিক্ত সেই চিদাকাশ
যা’ সরাবে সব জটিলতা

পরম পুরুষে সদা মনে রাখি
তাহার আশিসে মধুরিমা মাখি
শ্বেতচন্দনে দিয়ে যাব আঁকি’
