Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áṋdháre tumi áṋdháre esecho
Álor enecho ván
Keu jáneni keu bojheni
Keu kareni anumán

Dehe mane bháve áṋdháre
Mánuś ghumiye chilo andhakáre
Sabár mukhe dile álo d́hele
Mohanidrár halo avasán

Phuler máláy ár madhura doláy
Káler játrápathe mayúkhamáláy
Tumi nije ele path dekhále
Rekhe gele stháyii avadán

O lord, you came in darkness,
bringing flood of light.
nobody knew, understood or
estimated that this was going to happen.
in the physical base, mental pabulum
or spiritual foundation,
human beings were asleep in dark.
you showered the divine effulgence
on everyone's face, and the slumber
of infatuation ended.
with floral garland and sweet swings,
providing illumination on the journey path,
you came yourself and showed the path
and left permanent gift for the mankind.
you gave permanent solution of all the physical,
psychic, and spiritual problems.
Baba, you have graced all with your divine advent.
