আপন তুমি প্রিয় তুমি
সবার মনের আলো (তুমি)
বাসতে ভালো তুমি জান
ভালোর চেয়েও ভালো (তুমি)

সৃষ্টি যখন ছিল নাকো
মন্দ-ভালো থাকত নাকো
তখন তুমি একাই ছিলে
কালাতীতের কালো (তুমি)

চাইলে তুমি আসুক ধরা
রূপে রসে গন্ধে ভরা
প্রাণের আলো ঢেলে’ দিলে

O lord, you are my own and dear,
light of all minds.
you know how to love,
excellent amongst the bests.
when the universe was not created,
there was no good or bad.
then you were alone
as darkness beyond time.
you wanted hence the earth came
full of beauty, flow and fragrance.
by raising wave in your being,
you poured life into that.
