Práńer parash pelo tárá
Táder niye ánandete
Tumi metecho

Bhuvan bharecho

অরুণ রাঙা পূর্বাকাশে
তুমি এসেছো
কৃপা করেছো গো প্রভু
ভালোবেসেছো

ফুলের কলি খুলেছে মুখ
আঁধার রাতের কেটেছে দুঃখ
বিশ্বব্যাপী প্রীতি নিয়ে
আলো ঢেলেছো

ঘুমিয়ে নীড়ে ছিলো যারা
প্রাণের পরশ পেলো তারা
তাদের নিয়ে আনন্দেতে
তুমি মেতেছো

আলোয় আলোয় আরো আলোয়
ভুবন ভরেছো

O lord,
You came in the eastern sky,
expressing yourself as a crimson colour,
expressing your love and grace.

The flower buds opened their mouth
and the sorrow of dark nights passed away.
You poured out the universal love of light.
Those sleeping in their nest
attained the touch of life.

With them,
You became engrossed in bliss.
You filled the world with light,
You filled it with endlessly more light.
