Asa ar jaoya caoya ar paoya is the 1561st song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ásá ár jáoyá cáoyá ár páoyá
E duyer májhe beṋce tháká (shudhu)
Páháŕe ságare niiradhárá dhare
Jukta kare saritrká

Kata bár ásá kata bár jáoyá
Kata maru májhe pathahárá haoyá
Váśper rúpe punah phire ásá
D́ák dey áshá mariiciká

Kárańe akárańe cáoyá
Kichu páoyá ár beshii náhi páoyá
Páoyá mátrei táre bhule jáoyá
Je saráy sab kuheliká

Coming and going,
desire and attainment,
only around the two does my existence revolve.

Like a stream
whose flow of water
joins the mountain and the ocean
I drift along.

How many times did i have to come?
How many times did i have to go?
How many times did i have to get lost in the desert?
Time and again i return,
as though vapour,
while the mirage of hope calls.

I desire with and without cause.
I attain something
but do not attain further.

Amidst achievement,
I forget him
who removes all mist.
