Balechile more asbe phire is the 1084th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Balechile more ásbe phire
Cale gele bhule gele kathá (tumi)
Bhálabesechile mukhei keval
Tái bojha niko mor vyathá

Sájáno gharer rúp sare geche
Veńiibandhan shithil hayeche
Kabariir málá jhariyá paŕeche
Shudhu raye geche ákulatá

Kán pete rai buke bal áni
Tava padadhvani shuńi ki ná shuńi
Ásár ásháy din kál guni
Práń bhará niye vyákulatá

O lord,
You told me you would come again,
but you went away
and forgot about it.

Perhaps your words of love
were only of a superficial nature,
and therefore,
You did not understand my pain.

The beauty of my once decorated house is gone.
The bondage in my chignon became loosened.
The garland loop on my hairdo withered away.
All is left, is my earnestness.

With concentrated fore,
I await to hear your footstep.
In the hope of your arrival,
and with an impatient heart,
I count days and time.
