O lord,
I am in love with You;
I love you,
With heart and soul love You I do.
with all my heart.
I've blossomed with flowers and fruits,
With only Your countless boons.

I developed and gained achievements
With eyes open, I never see
such as flowers and fruits,
You're my own decidedly.
that are part of your infinite gifts.
You've given to me much and sundry,
Honey-coated, colored dreams.
Finally, I have made Your acquaintance,
Come to know You through my meditation.

I could not see
My time's been squandered in many useless things,
how much of my own you were.
Like blades of grass floating on a stream.
You gave me so much
Now I'm awakened to what matters;
as if in a sweetness absorbed colourful dream.
I pass the day in Your ballad.

After such a long time
I came to know and recognise you in meditation.

Much my time passed by in vain,
like a blade of grass, floating in the stream.

Today, sam'vit intuition has come
and now, i utilise my time
in singing your song.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Bhálabási tomáy ámi
Bhálabási mane práńe
Phut́iyáchi phule phale (ámi)
Tomári ajuta dáne

Áṋkhi mele dekhi niko
Tumi ámár kata ápan
Diyácha je kata kichu
Madhumákhá ráuṋá svapan
Etadine ciniyáchi (tomáy)
Jániyáchi tomáy dhyáne

(Ámár) Kál ket́eche kata vrthái
Srote bhásá trńeri práy
Samvit áji ese jáoyáy (ámár)
Din je kát́ái tomár gáne

I am in love with You;
With heart and soul love You I do.
I've blossomed with flowers and fruits,
With only Your countless boons.

With eyes open, I never see
You're my own decidedly.
You've given to me much and sundry,
Honey-coated, colored dreams.
Finally, I have made Your acquaintance,
Come to know You through my meditation.

My time's been squandered in many useless things,
Like blades of grass floating on a stream.
Now I'm awakened to what matters;
I pass the day in Your ballad.
