Bhave bhara akashe bhavatiita sakashe is the 573rd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Bháve bhará ákáshe bhávátiita sakáshe
Maner mádhurii d́hele jái
Viińára tantriite práńera sauṋgiite
Tumi cháŕá ár kichu nái

Anádi káler sáthii niye calo divá-ráti
Dyutibhará tava dyotanáy
Asiimer rúparáshi sasiima paráge bhási
Misháiyá dáo ajánáy
Tomár anudhyáne tomári abhidhyáne
Hiyáy tomáre jena pái

Bhúmára parasha áshe ańura máyákáshe
Samvit o hládinii jágái
Rúp theke rúpátiite práń bhará praetite
Siimár sakal rekhá hárái

Into ether, largely dreamy, transcendental nearly,
I go on pouring out the sweetness of my mind.
On the strings of my lyre, in the song of my life,
Without Thee, Lord, there's absolutely nothing.

Companion For All Time, take me with You day and night;
By Your inspiration, I am full of radiant light.
Allure Of The Infinite, I drift with the finite pollen;
Please let me assimilate into Your Great Beyond.
By chasing after You, by recognizing You only,[nb 2]
Inside my heart, I will surely realize Thee.

In hope of touching the Cosmic One in microcosmic sky,
Forces of introspection and sublimation[nb 3] do I galvanize.
From form to formless, with hearty will to move,
All the lines of finitude I lose.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ Abhidhyán (অভিধ্যান) and Anudhyána (অনুধ্যান) are meditative techniques for attaining salvation. With abhidhyán the ideation is: "The Lord is my only object of meditation." With anudhyána, the ideation is: "Whatever may be my defects, still I will run after the Lord and catch Him."[3]
  3. ^ In the struggle to overcome ignorance of life's purpose, the spiritual aspirant takes help from Vidyámáyá, the introversive aspect of Prakrti (Nature). ''Vidyámáyá consists of two forces: (1) Samvit (সম্বিৎ), the sudden awareness of a truth that transcends relativity (2) Hládinii (হ্লাদিনী), a propelling force that transports to divinity.[4]
