Diip nive geche damka haoyay is the 760th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Diip nive geche damká haoyáy
Phul jhare geche tápa jváláy
Álpaná geche shúnye miláye
Maner mukure tumi kotháy

Kán pete shuńi tava padadhvani
Ele ki ná ele e kál beláy

Káṋt́á daliyáchi tuccha kariyá
Hiyá májhe sadá bhávt́i bhuliyá
Paráńer bháśá mare gumariyá
Phot́ár avakásh se je ná páy

(Áj) Eso rájveshe madhura áveshe
Práńer prakáshe nirdvidháy

Due to a gust of wind,
the light of my lamp was extinguished.
Due to intense heat,
my flower withered away.

The decoration mark
to welcome you, has faded.
Where in my mental mirror are you?

I hear the sound of your footsteps
but do not know,
whether or not you came,
at this last moment.

Ignoring the thorns i stamped on,
in my mind, i continue carrying your ideation.

The feelings of my heart overwhelm
but do not get the chance to express themselves.

Come in royal adornments,
come with sweet impulse
and illuminate my heart without reservation.
